Saturday sessions are available. Sunday is not a shoot day. Saturday sessions are priced at $425 for headshots and $549 for portraits.

A signed agreement and a 50% non-refundable retainer reserve your date. No other bookings are accepted during that window.

Yes. Events beyond 50 miles from Elk Grove are billed at the current IRS mileage rate plus 50%. Lodging may apply for multi-day projects.

Yes. Mad Lad Visuals carries business liability insurance and can provide proof of insurance upon request.

We maintain a professional and safe working environment. If harassment or unsafe conditions occur, coverage may be terminated without refund.

Mad Lad Visuals charges $349 for weekday sessions and $425 for Saturday sessions. Each edited image is $75, selected at the end of your session. Most clients purchase between two and five images. There are no packages that force you to buy images you don't want.

A headshot is face and shoulders. It's built for LinkedIn, company websites, business cards, and directories. A portrait session is broader, with more environment, more variety, and more context. It works well for personal branding, author photos, and creative professionals. We offer both.

Bring two or three outfit options in solid colors that match your professional tone. Get a good night's sleep. It shows. Arrive with your hair and makeup done the way you'd wear it to an important meeting. Professional hair and makeup is also available through our HMUA Mili Simon for an additional $300 if you'd prefer to have that handled on set. Most people aren't used to being in front of a camera. That's normal and expected.

Yes. We work with Mili Simon, a professional hair and makeup artist with over two decades of experience. Her work has appeared in British Vogue, Cosmopolitan, and Elle, and on campaigns for brands including Adidas, Gap, Levi's, and Diet Coke. She is available to add to any individual session for $300 and stays for the full shoot to keep hair and makeup fresh from the first frame to the last. Yes. Most people aren't used to being in front of a camera and that's completely normal. We guide you through posing and expression so you look confident and natural — not stiff.

Solid colors, well-fitted clothing, and outfits that match your organization's professional tone tend to photograph best. Avoid busy patterns or logos that compete with your face.

No. Every image is retouched by hand in Lightroom. Mad Lad Visuals does not use AI in any part of the editing process. Standard retouching is included with every purchased image.
